Quilting FabricsOur cotton fabrics are not just for quilting as today's fabrics lend themselves to more than quilts, they can look stunning made into bags & accessories, cushions, home decor throughtout the house and can be used for dressmaking too. Quilting today, is enjoying a wave of popularity as a creative art form whilst continuing a functional means of keeping warm. Whilst some sewers and quilters prefer the traditional techniques the sewing machine can speed the process to aid our busy lives. Our designer fabrics are from both Rowan and Westminster Fibers and a selection of cottons from Jane Makower they are all quality 100% cotton fabrics (44" / 112cm wide) and you can buy per fat quarter or by the metre. We stock fabrics ranges from some of the following designers Easy Projects If you're new to sewing or getting back into stitching, it can be a bit daunting so we suggest you start with something simple like a pincushion perhaps. There are lots of free sewing projects out there, one of our favourite sites is Make it Coats they have some trendy designs and ideas for all seasons to sew, knit, crochet & embroider too. Sewing Machine ServicingIf your machine is in need of some TLC or requires attention and you can bring the machine into us in Diss, we can help as we are a pick-up point for Sewing Machine World based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Your machine will be delivered back to us when the service or repair is complete and we'll advice you when your machine is ready to be collected. The experienced engineers offer servicing and repairs to all brands of domestic sewing machines & embroidery machines too and any work undertaken is guaranteed for 12 months.
