I'm in the US, but found this shop online when I was looking for a pattern. The shop is super easy to order from and I am grateful the pattern could be mailed to me overseas. Wow what a find! This little shop tucked away in a courtyard was not so little. It had so much wool, patterns and other crafting bits packed in, I didn't know where to start. An hour later I was still browsing. If you need wool, go nowhere else - there is such a wide choice and sue was extremely helpful.

I ordered some wool from Diss Wool & Craft Shop and unfortunately it had been discontinued. I was in the middle of a project so Sue chased around other suppliers to find me the wool at no extra cost (even though it should have been more expensive at the shop she eventually found it at). The range of wools and patterns is fantastic and there are good offers too, if you're looking for a bargain. Diss is a lovely town but if you can't get to the shop the website is really good and you can browse the huge range of stock anytime day or night! My next project is likely to be a summer top so I'll check with Sue if the cotton yarns are suitable. She is always really helpful.

Diss Wool and Craft Shop is always full of colourful examples of finished work that really inspire a person to get knitting or crocheting. The biggest pleasure is to pop in and state what you want to do and Sue will always help you find the pattern, suggest yarns and work out ball requirements. She knows her stock, and can order what you want if she happens not to have the exact colour you are looking for. Equally, its a fine place to browse without pressure. I'd go more often if I could wade my way through outstanding crafting jobs!
